Hi, when rounding to the nearest eighth, should I round up or down?

A: Good question! When measuring to the nearest 1/8" of an inch, rounding down for width. For example, if the measurement is 12 9/16", round down to 12 1/2". If it's 12 3/8", no need to round down.
